Research Shows Possible New Cause of Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is a condition more people are suffering with.  It is more common in women but men do experience it too.  It is characterized by generalized pain throughout the body, extreme tenderness to even light touch, chronic fatigue is usually present as well as headaches, depression and anxiety.
When patients suffering with fibromyalgia go to the medical doctors, they perform several tests which all come back negative.  Then they test multiple tender trigger points on your body and if you have 11 of the 18 locations they will diagnose the condition.  Treatment is focused on covering up the symptoms with medications like Lyrica, Cymbalta and Savella but just like any other medication the at best would mask the symptoms and can lead to many harmful side effects.
