Veteran starts business bringing Kevlar® technology into homes and buildings
StormRooms of New Jersey, Inc. is coming to Freehold, NJ. It will be the only authorized dealer in the state to offer DuPont™ StormRoom™ with Kevlar® technology, bringing security and peace of mind to New Jerseyans looking to protect their families, businesses and possessions.
“New Jersey families have experienced dramatic weather, and many worry about keeping loved ones safe from natural disasters and criminals,” said Vincent Cerio, Founder and CEO of StormRooms of New Jersey. “A StormRoom™ provides protection during the worst times, and peace of mind at all times. I’m proud to be launching this company here in my home state.”
The StormRoom™ has been installed in other states and is used as a home office, laundry room, closet, wine cellar, and other living space. A StormRoom™ is also installed to protect business assets and employees, functioning as an employee break room, computer server room, storage space and more.

Cerio says he plans to be open for business by the end of the year with installations beginning in January.
Cerio decided to start the company after a successful career as an Operations leader for world-class pharmaceutical companies. A former Senior Intelligence Analyst and Paratrooper in the United States Army, Cerio earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
