Woman Charged With Shoplifting In Thefts At Freehold Raceway Mall

Shannon M. Roseti is accused of shoplifting at Freehold Raceway Mall and was in possession of items from several stores.

An Ocean County woman was arrested recently on charges of theft and receiving stolen property in connection with thefts from stores at Freehold Raceway Mall, according to a criminal complaint released by the Monmouth County prosecutor’s office.

Shannon M. Roseti, 28, of Easton Court in the Whiting section of Manchester, was arrested Sept. 20 and charged with shoplifting after she attempted to steal three shirts, valued at $167, from the Lord & Taylor store at the mall,according to the complaint.

Additionally, she was charged with receiving stolen property after she was found to be in possession of items of clothing and costume jewelry stolen from Claire’s Boutique, Lord & Taylor, H&M, Macy’s and New York and Company, the complaint says. Those items were valued at $434.

Bail was set at $1,000 cash on the shoplifting charge and at $5,000 cash on the receiving stolen property charge, set as a result of what the complaint cites as a lengthy criminal history.
