Youth Government Seeks Budding Leaders

Middle and high school students are invited to participate.

The newly formed Freehold Borough Youth Government will provide middle and high school students a chance to get involved in their community, according to Councilman Jaye Sims.

The program for teens in grades seven through 12 are eligible to participate in the program. Students involved in Borough Youth Government will learn leadership skills and work with local officials and civic organizations to better the municipality, Sims said.

A final registration session is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 14 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at . Students must be a resident of Freehold Borough in order to participate.
