2 Critically Hurt After Car Hits Trees In Galloway: Police
A 25-year-old Burlington man was driving a 32-year-old man from Westhampton. Neither has been publicly identified.
GALLOWAY, NJ — Two people were critically injured Saturday night in Galloway after their vehicle struck trees and overturned, police said. A 25-year-old Burlington man was driving a 32-year-old man from Westhampton in a 2013 Nissan Altima.
Police withheld their identities with family notification pending. The accident took place at about 7 p.m. Friday at Seaview Avenue and Hollybrook Avenue, police said.
The men were traveling westbound on Biscayne Avenue when the driver failed to negotiate the curve for Seaview Avenue and left the roadway, police said. The car struck a tree and partially overturned. Then the roof struck a second tree.

Officials took them to the Atlantic Regional Medical Center. The road was closed for three hours.
Patrolmen Ron Gorneau, Steve Garrison and Nick Stewart of the Galloway Township Traffic Safety Unit are investigating the crash. Anyone with information can contact Gorneau at 609-652-3705 ext. 5095.

The Galloway Township Ambulance Squad, AtlantiCare Medics, Bayview Volunteer Fire Company, Pomona Volunteer Fire Department and Absecon Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
