2 Women Held Hostage, Assaulted In Atlantic City: Police
Justin Williams, 39, held the women against their will, threatened to kill them and stole from them, police said.
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — An Atlantic City man was charged after holding two female acquaintances hostage, assaulting and robbing them, police said.
While holding the women hostage in the home on the first block of north Georgia Avenue, Justin Williams, 39, threatened to kill them with a knife, assaulted them and stole from them, police said.
He also unsuccessfully attempted to throw one woman out of a window, according to police.

One of the woman was able to escape before police arrived shortly after 9 a.m. on Dec. 31. It wasn't clear how long Williams had been holding the women there.
Williams and the other woman were still inside the home, police said. After police established a perimeter and contacted Williams, he ultimately surrendered, police said.

One woman was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division for treatment, while the other woman refused medical treatment, police said. The knife was recovered.
Williams was charged with two counts of robbery, three counts of aggravated assault, two counts of terroristic threats, criminal restraint, certain person not to possess a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and simple assault. He was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
