3 Charged After Death Of NJ Teen Assaulted Outside Strip Club
Pleasantville Police said Irving Mayren-Guzman was assaulted early Sunday morning in front of Centerfolds Night Club, before he disappeared.

PLEASANTVILLE, NJ — Three men have been charged in connection with the assault of an Atlantic County 19-year-old who went missing after leaving a strip club and was later found dead, police said.
Irving Mayren-Guzman of Pleasantville was found dead on Tuesday, after a two-day search. Mayren-Guzman was reported missing by police Sunday; he was last seen at Centerfolds Night Club.
Pleasantville Police said Mayren-Guzman was assaulted in the parking lot of the club in the early morning hours of Jan. 23, before he disappeared.

Jamal Timberlake, 30, of Atlantic City; John Hands, 24, of Pleasantville; and Garnell Hands, 29, of Pleasantville were arrested Wednesday and charged with second-degree aggravated assault and conspiracy, according to a news release from Pleasantville Police.
“The Pleasantville Police Department would like to express their heartfelt condolences to the family of Irving during this tragic time," said Chief James Williams.

Mayren-Guzman's body was found just east of Centerfolds, police said, after a two-day search in the marshes near the club. A number of other police departments assisted with the search, as well as the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Department, New Jersey State Police and Atlantic County Office Emergency Management.
A fundraiser has been established via GoFundMe for his funeral arrangements.
"Irving was a joyful, kind, caring, honest, loving young man," a loved one wrote on the fundraising site. "He was young yet determined; he had already decided what his passion and dream was. Irving was an aspiring barber and wanted nothing more than to succeed in his trade.
"He was a responsible young man; he saved his money with his dreams in mind. He was constantly learning more about investing and expanding his knowledge in every aspect."
People have donated more than $35,000 as of 3 p.m. Thursday.
