“COMMUNITY POLICING”

As part of our ongoing effort to stay connected with our community, Chief Stone visited the Lions Club on the 21st to speak on behalf of the police department.  If your organization would like the Chief or his designee to come to your function, please contact the police department for scheduling.

Some of the goals we hope to obtain by becoming more involved in community policing are: To maintain or increase public confidence in the Police Department, Decrease fear of crime, Listen to and address citizen concerns, Bring community resources together to solve problems, Impact specific crime problems, and  Reduce repetitive calls for service.  Our most important goal is to help us help you.
