Atlantic City Teens Attack Teacher, Then Their Parents Fight: Police
The substitute teacher was trying to intervene while the three were attacking another student, but the students turned on her, police said.
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Three Atlantic City high school students were charged after assaulting another student and their substitute teacher, before their parents began to brawl with each other, police said.
On April 26 the three students, all girls, ages 14, 15 and 16-years-old began assaulting a 15-year-old student, Atlantic City police said.
A substitute teacher, 24, had tried to intervene and break the fight up, but the three students then turned and began assaulting her, police said.

School security personnel broke up the fight and separated them before Atlantic City police showed up, they said.
The three teens were taken to the Clayton G. Graham Public Safety Building and charged with aggravated assault, police said.

As their guardians were waiting for the students to be released, they also broke out into a fight and were then taken into custody, police said.
The three adults, Monique Spellman, 42, Tanika Joyce, 45, and Brandi Braxton, 31, all of Atlantic City, were charged with disorderly conduct, police said.
This investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be filed, police said.
All involved were issued summonses pending future court dates, according to police.
