Gas prices are going up nationwide, with the average price nationally being $4.07 and $4.08 in Atlantic County, according to the AAA. Nationally, gas prices are the highest they have been since 2014, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

In Atlantic City, average gas prices have increased from $3.50 a gallon a month ago to $4.08 today. This is only slightly below New Jersey’s state average of $4.17 a gallon.
