Galloway Township, NJ -- For the first time in 20 years, D.A.R.E. America is returning to Galloway Township Schools, the Galloway Township Police Department announced last week.
“We are so excited and proud to be able to help educate our youth in this area; to be able to bring a curriculum that addresses drugs, violence, bullying, internet safety, and other high risk circumstances that today are too often a part of students’ lives,” Galloway Police Chief Donna Higbee said. “D.A.R.E. envisions a world in which students everywhere are empowered to respect others and choose to lead lives free from violence, substance abuse, and other dangerous behaviors.”
