District 9 Representatives Returning to Galloway Next Tuesday

The event, held at the municipal complex, is designed for the legislators to meet constituents in both Galloway and Port Republic.

Senator Christopher J. Connors, Assemblyman Brian E. Rumpf and Assemblywoman DiAnne C. Gove return to Galloway Township next Tuesday night, Feb. 21, the District 9 representatives announced Tuesday morning.

The event, to be held at the municipal complex at 7 p.m., is being labelled a "Meet the Legislators" night, and is designed for the legislators to meet constituents in both Galloway Township and Port Republic, which both became part of the ninth district last year.

β€œThe purpose of this event is to provide our Delegation with the opportunity to meet and speak with our new constituents," the legislators said in a joint release Tuesday morning. "To more effectively represent our district, we have always actively solicited input from constituents on those issues most important to them."

β€œWe fully recognize there are issues unique to Galloway and Port Republic that our Delegation would like to have a better understanding of from the perspective of local residents, the legislators said.
