'Drive Sober' Campaign Resolution Among Items on Council Agenda

The Galloway Township Police have participated in the statewide campaign since last year.

Among the items on this upcoming Tuesday's Galloway Township City Council agenda is a resolution to amend the adopted budget for the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" crackdown campaign, a statewide effort which Galloway Township Police .

Another resolution on the agenda is one that creates "No Parking" regulations during certain times on Reeds Court.

This Ordinance creates “No Parking” regulations on Reeds Court, requiring permist to homeowners & visitors to be used during restricted times.

This Resolution amends the adopted budget for insertion of special item of revenue & appropriation for Grant in the amount of $4,400.
213-12 Agreement between GT & NJ Department of Environmental Protection for $3,000 Grant
This Resolution authorizes a grant agreement w/NJDEP in the amount of $3,000.
214-12 Application & Acceptance of Funds by the GT Mun Drug Alliance from Atlantic County
This Resolution authorizes the Twp Mun Drug Alliance to apply for & accept grant funds thru the Atl Co Alliance for the Prevention of Drug & Alcohol Abuse & continue the alcohol & drug prevention programs & opportunities for GT youth.
215-12 Cancellation of Outstanding Checks issued by the Municipal Court
This Resolution authorizes the cancellation of outstanding checks issued by the Mun Crt, which are over
1 yr old & never been cashed & recommended by the Auditors & the value turned over to the Twp.
216-12 Support Buy Local/Buy Fair & Approve GT for Consideration as a Fair Trade Town
This Resolution is the final step needed to apply for FAIR TRADE designation for Galloway.
217-12 Amend Reso No. 190-12 for the Cancelation & Refund of Taxes under Disabled Vet Act
This Resolution amends Resolution 190-12.
218-12 Supporting Drive Sober of Get Pulled Over 2012 Statewide Crackdown
This Resolution supports the 2012 Statewide Crackdown & is required for the reimbursement grant.
