Egg Harbor City Man Shot Wednesday Morning: Police

An Egg Harbor City man is being treated for serious injuries following a shooting early Wednesday morning, Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain said.

Egg Harbor City Police and emergency medical personnel responded to the 300 block of 8th Terrace, in Egg Harbor City, for a report that a person had been shot around 12:10 a.m.

Upon arrival, police found John Daniels, 31, inside a home suffering from gunshot wounds.

Emergency medical responders transported Daniels by helicopter to AlantiCare Medical Center City Division, where he is being treated for serious injuries.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns, and Narcotics Unit and the Egg Harbor City Police Department continue the investigation.
