Egg Harbor Man Sentenced For Drug Death: Officials

The aggregate sentence is 20 years, including 8.5 without parole eligibility, the prosecutor announced.

An Egg Harbor Township man was sentenced to prison Friday for distributing drugs that made a man fatally overdose in 2016, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon J. Tyner announced.

Campos, 25, was sentenced to 10 years in New Jersey state prison for the drug-induced homicide, Tyner said. He must serve 85 percent of that sentence without parole. Campos also must serve concurrent to 20 years (eight without parole) for leading a drug trafficking network, according to Tyner. The aggregate sentence is 20 years, including 8.5 without parole eligibility, Tyner said.

Adam O'Gara, of Egg Harbor Township, suffered a fatal overdose on April 22, 2016, Tyner said. His death led investigators to find Campos and arrest him August 2017 at the Bayview Inn & Suites on Albany Avenue in Atlantic City, according to Tyner.
