Egg Harbor Woman Killed in 3-Car Accident in Galloway
Kay Campbell was killed after her car crossed the center line and collided head-on with two other cars on Route 30 Thursday night.

An Egg Harbor woman has died after her car crossed the center line and collided head-on with two other cars in Galloway Thursday night, police said Friday morning.
Kay Campbell, 45, was driving west on Route 30 in the area of Carton Avenue when her 2005 Hyundai crossed the center line hit the left rear side of a 2009 Dodge being driven by 29-year-old Marissa Cowan, of Hammonton.
Campbell continued moving west in the eastbound lane, strikinga 2004 Toyota being driven by 62-year-old Donald Kleinschmidt, of Absecon.

Campbell was extricated from her car by the Pomona Fire Department and pronounced dead at 9:16 p.m.
Kleinschmidt suffered serious, non-life threatening injuries and was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Division by the Galloway Township Ambulance Squad.

Cowan suffered minor injuries and was also taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Division by the GTAS.
Route 30 was closed between Carton Avenue and Mannheim Avenue for about three hours while police investigated the scene, and debris and vehicles were removed. The accident remains under investigation.
The Germania Fire Department, Galloway EMS, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, AtlantiCare medics, an NJ Medical Examiner and Hy-Way Towing all assisted at the scene.
