Either Way Performs at Wine Stock Festival
The Galloway-based band now has 60 songs in its repertoire.
Galloway-based, youth band, Either Way ventured beyond Atlantic County for a performance at Wine Stock, a wine festival and music competition held at Natalie Vineyards in Cape May Court House.
Either Way was one of eight other bands competing in the two-day festival. Attendees were invited to vote for their favorite band during the course of the day.
After the festival, the band with the most votes would receive a $1,000 cash prize.

The band —made up of charter tech students Johnny Zappos and Brant Vasquez, Galloway Township Middle School student, Sarah Holt and Adrienne Hires, a recent graduate of Mainland Regional High School— performed to a packed tent of fans, and played an eclectic set of cover songs; everything from bands like the Beatles and Queen to more modern pop bands such as the Black Keys.
They now have close to 60 songs in their repertoire, said Susanne Holt, Either Way’s manager. “Each new place they play is a new incentive [to learn more music.]”

Either Way has had busy summer, performing everywhere in Atlantic County at music festivals and private events, as well as a regular gig at the Oyster Creek Inn in Galloway.
They were pretty busy last winter, explained Holt, but “this spring [the band] just took off.”
“It’s the most organized band I’ve ever been with,” says Hires, who joined the group in April, replacing Either Way’s former bassist, Bob Kessler, who was forced to leave the band due to scheduling conflicts he had with another group.
Both Zappos and Vasques say they’re very happy with Hires as the new bassist.
“He has his own style,” said Zappos. “[It’s] great.”
They were “very good,” Cape May Court House resident, Thomas Miller said after Either Way’s first set. “The bass guy is good… of course I will vote for them.”
