On Friday, April 20th the students of Assumption Regional
Catholic School in Galloway will be hosting and participating in a “Relay
Recess” event that is supported through the American Cancer Society. The
students are inviting members of the community to form a team and join them in
celebrating and remembering those who have been touched by cancer. The event
will start at 12:00 with opening ceremonies and continue until 8:00pm with the
closing ceremonies that will include the lighting of luminary bags in memory or
honor of loved ones, a final lap by survivors, and a projection of names in
memory of or in honor of those who have fought the battle. One member of each
team must be walking on the track in the school parking lot from 12 noon until 8
