Atlantic Cape Community College will offer a variety of foreign language workshops for all experience levels this spring.
In Beginning French, participants will gain a basic understanding of vocabulary and grammar, focusing on the most commonly used phrases for day-to-day conversation and travel situations, 6-8 p.m., eight Mondays beginning Feb. 20 or eight Saturdays beginning Feb. 25.
Conversational German participants will learn about German culture and language, including useful words, phrases and expressions common to real-life situations. Emphasis will be on functional conversation and vocabulary, 5-7 p.m., five Wednesdays beginning March 21.
Beginning Russian will emphasize speaking skills and basic written and spoken Russian, 6-8 p.m., eight Thursdays beginning April 5 or eight Saturdays beginning April 28.
Designed with a conversational approach, Intermediate Conversational Italian encourages participation and allows students to develop their abilities and take their Italian language skills to the next level, 6:30-9 p.m., six Wednesdays beginning April 4 or 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m., six Saturdays beginning April 7.
Get immersed in Spanish culture, conversation and master the language basics in Spanish II. Participants will learn additional grammar and how to clearly express themselves in social and business settings, 7-9:30 p.m., six Thursdays beginning April 5 or six Tuesdays beginning April 10.
Learn useful words, phrases and expressions common to everyday life, business and travel situations in Conversational Italian, with an emphasis on functional conversation, vocabulary, pronunciation and fun, 6-8 p.m., eight Saturdays beginning May 19.
Personal enrichment classes are offered at the Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike Worthington Atlantic City Campus, 1535 Bacharach Rd., in Atlantic City; and the Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, in Cape May Court House.
