Parents and students feeling stressed out by the college admissions process should plan to attend the presentation of Dr. Harvey Kesselman on Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center (PAC) of the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Dr. Kesselman, Stockton’s Provost and Executive Vice President, will conduct his popular workshop, “Navigating Through College Admissions, Financial Aid, and NCAA Athletics” to help de-mystify the process and bring it into sharp focus.
Dr. Kesselman’s talk and workshop played to an overflow audience last year, necessitating its move this year to the PAC. He has also made the presentation throughout New Jersey and surrounding states. The event at Stockton is free and open to the public. The workshop, sponsored by Greater Egg Harbor Regional School District and the Southern Regional Institute (SRI) and Educational Technology Training Center (ETTC), is designed to assist high school students and their families with the processes associated with college admission, financial aid, and NCAA athletics. The program explains the terminology and required steps to navigate admissions, loans and scholarships.
