SCOSA presents: Professional Guided Autobiography Workshop

For social workers, marriage & family therapists, LPCs, elder care & hospice professionals, and clergy.
Although our lives sometimes seem to be a random and monotonous series of incidents, each has a plot. Writing a guided autobiography focused on central themes in our lives can give new meaning to our present and future lives because it helps us understand the past more fully.
The workshop is designed for professionals who are interested in learning the techniques of guided autobiography in order to offer classes or workshops in their own workplace or civic settings. The Guided Autobiography course is based upon the The Birren Autobiographical Studies Program, dedicated to enriching the lives of adults through writing, sharing, and preserving their life stories and life experiences
