Stockton College senior Lizbeth Castro was interested in helping area at-risk youth. With that goal in mind, she teamed up with Pleasantville School District teacher and child advocate, Yvette T. Soklove, J.D., M.S.W., to form the organization Unifying Our Neighborhoods and Investing Time in Youth (UNITY).
The UNITY ”State of the Urban Community” program, the first of three community forums is set for 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and is open to the public. Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. at Pleasantville High School, 701 Mill Road in Pleasantville
