Five Things You Need to Know About the June Primaries
The deadline to register to vote is today.

1.Β Β Β Β Today is the final day for New Jersey residents to register for this yearβs Republican and Democratic primaries, which will both take place June 7. All 120 senate seats are up for grabs in this yearβs November elections. All primaries affecting Galloway voters are uncontested.
2.Β Β Β Β In Galloway Township, incumbent Republican Mayor Keith Hartman, Republican Councilman Tony Coppola and incumbent Democratic Councilman Jim Gorman are all up for re-election. Republican Brian Tyrell and Democrats Kevin Krumaker and Jim McElwee are the challengers.
3.Β Β Β Β This will be the first year Galloway Township is in the District 9 Legislative voting district. In the state senate race, Democrat Dorothey Ryan will challenge incumbent Republican Christopher Connors.
