Five Things You Need to Know About Tuesday's Council Meeting
A look at some of the issues discussed Tuesday night, Feb. 28.

1.Β Β Β Β A previously scheduled resolution appointing Leticia M. Loeser to the position of Acting Deputy Registrar was removed from the agenda for Tuesday nightβs council meeting because itβs an appointment that didnβt need to be voted on by the governing body, Interim Acting Township Manager Arch Liston said. The appointment is made by the current Registrar of Vital Statistics, Carol Hackney. According to Liston, she has already made the appointment.
2.Β Β Β Β A special meeting is scheduled for next Tuesday, March 6 so that council can interview candidates for the positions of Township Clerk and Township Manager, Liston said on Tuesday night. While Liston is the Interim Acting Township Manager, Loeser is the part-time deputy clerk. The meeting begins at 5 p.m.
3.Β Β Β Β On March 27, Comcast will convert all Galloway Township television channels to digital. Residents must have a digital box if they wish to watch television in the township after that date.
