Galloway Cop Stabber Indicted On Attempted Murder Charge: Prosecutor
Keith Kiminsky, 30, slashed a cop in the face so severely that his mouth and teeth were exposed, prosecutors said.

GALLOWAY, NJ β A Galloway man was indicted on multiple charges including attempted murder after slashing a cop in the face with a serrated knife, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.
Keith Kiminsky, 30, was also indicted on aggravated assault, resisting arrest, obstruction and weapons offenses in relation to the April 7 incident, authorities said.
At about 8:30 p.m., officers were investigating several 911 hangup calls at a home on Cresson Avenue, Galloway police said at the time.

Police were speaking with Kiminsky's mother on the home's front porch when he suddenly darted out of the front door and attacked Officer Erik Tarnow, police said. (SEE BODYCAM VIDEO OF THE ATTACK HERE)
He slashed the officer's face and was taken to the ground by another officer, police said. He then "fought with the officers on the ground for several minutes, not dropping the knife even when the officers demanded that he stop resisting," the prosecutor's office said.

Tarnow had to be taken to the hospital for emergency surgery. His right cheek was so severely cut that his mouth and teeth were exposed, the prosecutor's office said. The gash was also close to the carotid artery on his neck.
Kiminsky is currently detained at the Atlantic County Jail.
