Galloway Planning Board Reorg Yields Little Change

One new member was sworn in at Thursday's meeting.

Matthew Geese was sworn in as the newest member of the Galloway Township Planning Board when it convened for its Reorganization Meeting Thursday night, Jan. 5 at the municipal complex.

Afterward, the rest of the members were sworn in for new terms, a list that included Mayor Don Purdy and Deputy Mayor Tony Coppola, as well as Ken Worth.

Ken Sooy was unanimously re-appointed to his post as chairman, and Jim Cox was unanimously re-appointed Vice Chairman. Pamela Alleyne was unanimously re-appointed Board Secretary.

Michael Fitzgerald was named Board Solicitor, Polistina Associates was named the Engineer, Dixon Associates was named conflict engineer and Tiffany Cuviello reprised her role as planner.

Master Plan Committee: Jim Cox, Chair; Tony Coppola, Dan Jones, Ken Sooy; and Don Purdy, alternate;

Development Review Committee: Betty Mannis, Chair; Don Purdy, Jim Cox, Ken Sooy; and Don Purdy, alternate;

Minor Subdivision Committee: Jim Cox, Chair; Dan Jones, Tom Guercioni, Robert Bruno; Matthew Geese, alternate;

Pinelands Issue Committee: Dan Jones, Chair; Ken Worth, Tom Guercioni, Ken Sooy; Don Purdy, alternate; and

Administrative Bill Committee: Dan Jones, Chair; Matthew Geese and Tony Coppola.

Meetings will be held on the following dates: Jan. 19, Feb. 2, Feb. 16, March 1, March 15, April 5, April 19, May 3, May 17, June 7, June 21, July 5, July 19, Aug. 2, Aug. 16, Sept. 6, Sept. 20, Oct. 4, Oct. 18, Nov. 1, Dec. 6 and Dec. 20.
