Galloway Voters Are Concerned with Action Over Rhetoric
Galloway resident Richard Price responds to Councilman Jim Gorman's comments about the Lenox factory and commercial ratables.

To the Editor:
The Galloway voters are interested in not what you say but in what you do. Council members talk about commercial development throughout Galloway. The only real development was Michel Charlton's Gourmet restaurant, Tilton Fitness and the Risley property; these projects done many years ago.
We now face a dilemma on the White Horse Pike and the area around Lenox China, the latter being the most obvious, the largest and most valuable especially with it's rail road siding.

It seems nothing is being done by the manager's office about bringing ratables in. Any one of the council people should take the bull by the horns and make this a project for Galloway to be proud of.
It was brought up to council two years ago about the number of jobs that could be created if Lenox could be used as a hub and a production factory for the next generation of wind-powered turbines that are going to be utilized along the eastern coast line. General Electric will be supplying theΒ material. They will need a place to distribute and fabricate.

Candidates, Democrat or Republican, should go and reach out to G.E. and any one elseΒ who might want to develop this great location.
Don't talk about it, DO IT.Β
