Galloway Woman Hospitalized Following Accident on Route 30
Gertrude Mangeruga was in stable condition following Saturday's accident.

A 76-year-old Galloway woman is in stable condition following a car accident on Route 30 and Cologne Avenue that took place on Saturday, Galloway Police said.
Gertrude Mangeruga was traveling east on the White Horse Pike and Akhilanan Balkaran, 47, of Plainfield, was traveling west on the White Horse Pike around 4:08 p.m.
Mangeruga then tried to make a left turn onto Cologne Avenue in front of Balkaran and the cars collided.

Mangeruga was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Division where she was reportedly in stable condition.
Akhilanan Balkaran, Cynthia Purnell-Balkaran and an unspecified number of children who were in the car suffered minor injuries and were treated at AtlantiCare Regional Center Mainland Division.

Mangeruga was issued a summons for failure to yield right of way at an intersection.
