Gun, Marijuana Recovered During Galloway Traffic Stop: Police
Two men were arrested during the overnight stop in the Mattix Run area.

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ — Two Galloway Township men have been arrested after a gun loaded with hollow point bullets was found in their car during a traffic stop overnight, police said Thursday morning.
Police stopped a car on Great Creek Road in the area of Mattix Run at about 1:20 a.m. Thursday morning, Nov. 1, according to the Galloway Township Police Department.
Police searched the car and found the gun, along with a small quantity of marijuana. Isiah X. Tolbert, 20, and Russell E. Clark, 30, were both in the car and were subsequently arrested.

Tolbert was charged with unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of hollow point bullets and possession of marijuana under 50 grams. A warrant was authorized by JMC Freed and Tolbert was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
Clark was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and released on a summons. Clark was additionally charged with motor vehicle violations to include possession of CDS while operating a motor vehicle.
