Holy Spirit Shuts Out Absegami Football Team Behind Two Interception Returns for Touchdowns
The Braves fell, 18-0.

The Holy Spirit High School football team shut out rival Absegami with two interception returns for touchdowns in Cape-Atlantic League action Friday night, Oct. 5.
The Spartans improved to .500 with an 18-0 win over the Braves in Galloway Township.
Jeff Steeb returned an interception 25 yards for the first touchdown in the first quarter, and A.J. Dawson returned an interception 42 yards in the fourth. Franco Rifici added a 36-yard field goal for the Spartans.

It was the first time this season the Braves were shut out, as they dropped to 3-2 for the season.
ATLANTIC CITY 19, HAMMONTON 7: The Vikings dropped the Blue Devils behind a pair of touchdown passes by Jarren McBryde. His first was a 9-yard delivery to Demond Cottman. He also hooked up with Dayshawn Reynolds on an 18-yard toss in the second quarter.

Atlantic City improved to 3-1. Hammonton fell to 3-2.
WILDWOOD 42, SALEM 16: Wesley Hills scored five touchdowns to lead the Warriors in the route of the Rams in West Jersey Football League action.
Hills scored on runs of 1, 20, 8 and 5 yards, and had a 60-yard punt return for a score.
Wildwood improved to 4-1.
