A New Jersey woman who is hoping to become a model is now reportedly fighting for her life after she was shot in the face while vacationing in Puerto Rico.
Angelis Molina, 20, of Ventnor, who worked as a waitress in Atlantic City, was attacked by an unidentified guman in mid-January, according to NBC10 Philadelphia.
A GoFundMe page also was set up to help raise funds for Molina's family, saying the woman is in critical condition. "She was the most kind-hearted and optimistic person you could ever meet. She was beautiful inside and out," the page said.

Her mother told NBC10 that Molina traveled to Puerto Rico in January and decided to stay there when she came across a modeling opportunity. She was inside an apartment with a group of people in San Juan when the attack occurred.
“She found a job and she said, ‘I just want to stay here for a few months, please, just to experience it a little more,’” Angelis’ mother, Michelle Molina, told the station. “And I tried to tell her, ‘It’s not what you think it is there. It’s dangerous.’"
