Kiwanis Club Makes $1,000 Donation to Atlantic Cape Community College

The donation helps establish a scholarship for a student who is an active community volunteer.

The Kiwanis Club of Cape May Court House recently donated $1,000 to the Atlantic Cape Community College Foundation to establish a scholarship for a student who is an active community volunteer and is set to return to school in the fall, the school announced on Monday, April 1.

“We are grateful to the Kiwanis Club of Cape May Court House for recognizing community service by investing in the success of our students, and we thank them for their support,” Atlantic Cape Community College President Dr. Peter Mora said.

Kiwanis Club of Cape May Court House Board Members Charles Raff and Michelle Cotton presented a check to Mora on March 25.

Kiwanis clubs serve children by improving their quality of life through charitable activities that promote health and education; and encouraging leadership and service among youth serving in high school Key Clubs and college Circle K clubs.
