List of College Graduates, Dean's List Students for June, 2012

Which local students were recognized?

The number of area residents who have graduated from college or made the Dean’s List/President’s List at their respective schools continues to grow. Here is the list of those who achieved those honors for the month of June. Information provided by readmedia.

Danielle Paci, of Galloway, received a bachelor of science degree from University of the Sciences during the school’s bachelor's degree conferment ceremony on Friday, May 18.

Lindsay Dornan, of Galloway, graduated with a master of arts degree in Teaching from James Madison University during the May 2012 commencement exercises.

Lauren N Manganiello and Olivia Sommers, both of Galloway, were among the 4,042 undergraduate students who made the Dean’s List at the University of Rhode Island for 2012. To be included on the Dean's List, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 credits with a 3.30 quality point average.

Washington College sophomore Kelly Bird, of Galloway, was named to that school’s Dean’s List for achieving a GPA of 3.4 or higher for the semester.

Courtney Rada, of Galloway, was named to the Dean’s List at the University of Hartford for the spring, 2012 semester.

Absecon resident Matthew Campo was named to the President's List at James Madison University for the spring 2012 semester. Students who earn president's list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of 3.9 or higher. Campo is majoring in health services administration.

University of Mary Washington sophomore Felysia R. Havens, of Absecon, was one of 796 students named to that school’s Dean’s List for the 2011-12 academic year. That school’s Dean's List recognizes outstanding academic achievement at the university by full-time students who attain at least a 3.5 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale.

The following students made the Dean’s List at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), by achieving a GPA of 3.5 while carrying 12 credits:

Anthony Cocuzza, a Sophomore Open Option-Business major, resident of Absecon;

Erica Keenan, a Junior English major, resident of Galloway;

Elizabeth Wimberg, a Freshman English major, resident of Galloway;

Manuel Montiel, a Sophomore History major, resident of Galloway;

Sunita Yadavalli, a Senior International Studies major, resident of Galloway;

Johnathan Eldis, a Senior Psychology major, resident of Absecon;

Cortney Ziegler, a Senior Early Childhood major, resident of Galloway; and

Diane Iannacone, a Freshman Special Education major, resident of Galloway.
