Minutes for all Open and Closed Session Meetings to be Approved by Council Tuesday Night

Tuesday night's meeting will also serve as the public hearing for the budget, and council will appoint a township clerk and a municipal judge.

will approve the content from every closed session at every council meeting from Dec. 13, 2011-March 13, 2012 at its meeting Tuesday night, according to the agenda that was posted on the township’s website on Friday, April 20.

Those dates include Dec. 13, Jan. 24, Jan. 31, Feb.28, March 6 and March 13.

The minutes from every public meeting over that same time span will also be approved at Tuesday night’s meeting. Minutes from the public portion on Feb. 14 will be approved. There was no closed session on Feb. 14.

The township clerk is in charge of assembling the minutes to be approved by council, but since Dec. 13, three people have held the position of township clerk. This includes former clerk Kimberley Hodsdon, former Acting Deputy Clerk Leticia Loeser and current Acting Deputy Clerk Thalia C. Kay.

A township clerk will be appointed at Tuesday's meeting.

Council meetings are generally held the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, but the meeting scheduled for Jan. 10 was canceled, and a special meeting to appoint Arch Liston Interim Acting Township Manager following previous manager Steve Bonanni’s was held Jan. 31.Β  Liston was appointed permanent manager on

The public hearing for the 2012 municipal budget will also take place at this meeting. Council will also appoint a municipal judge.

The Galloway Township Council welcomes participation of interested organizations and individuals during regular, as well as, special meetings. However, in order for the Council to conduct the business of the Township in the most productive manner possible, public comment on specific agenda items, questions comments at the end of regular meetings or during special meetings will be limited to five (5) minutes per person. If you wish to address the Council, please step up to the microphone at the appropriate time, and state your name.

This Ordinance amends the approved traffic code, to establish & maintain No Parking regulations along Reeds Crt.

This Resolution authorizes the release of a performance guarantee on the recommendation of the Enginee, as they have performed an inspection of the site improvements.
