Noyes Museum to Hold Winter Opening Reception Friday Night

Hofenakus will perform as part of the reception, which had 500 guests last year.

Four new exhibitions will be on display Friday night, Feb. 8, when the Noyes Museum of Art Stockton College holds its Winter Opening Reception.

This reception takes place one year after the museum’s largest opening reception in history, held in February of 2012. The museum holds four opening receptions a year.

“We had about 500 guests in attendance last winter,” Noyes Museum Assistant Director Sara Gendlek said. “We’ve had soft openings for our exhibits over the last two weeks, and Friday is our grand opening.”

The band Hofenakus will perform at Friday night’s wine and cheese reception.

The reception takes place from 5-8 p.m. at the Noyes Museum, 733 Lily Lake Road, Oceanville. Tickets are the standard price of $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, and members and Richard Stockton College of New Jersey students are free.
