A detour on Pitney Road in Absecon will be in effect through the end of the month due to a county roadway improvement project.
The detour is in effect between West Church Street and Spruce Street between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday-Friday, the county announced Thursday afternoon.
The county advises motorists to follow the posted detours or seek an alternate route and plan accordingly.
