Reeds Road Students Cut Ribbon on New Gym
First-grader Payton Muzyka and sixth-grader Nicole Gruber cut the ribbon to open the new Reeds Road Elementary School gym on Thursday.
The Galloway Township School District introduced the new gym at Reeds Road Elementary School on Thursday. The gym was paid for with funds through an ROD Grant and the savings in the school system's Capital Projects Account.
First-grader Payton Muzyka and sixth-grader Nicole Gruber performed the official ribbon-cutting.
"I'm excited that it's open because we've been waiting a long time," said Muzyka, who will be moving on to the middle school next year, so she won't be a student at the school in September when the gym is officially opened to the students and community.
