All Voting to be Complete by 8 p.m. on Election Day

A previous announcement indicated emergency voting will continue until 9 p.m., but it won't.

All voting in Atlantic County ends at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6, Atlantic County officials clarified Sunday afternoon, Nov. 4. A previous announcement incorrectly stated emergency voting would continue until 9 p.m.

All election offices, including the Atlantic County Board of Elections, the county clerk and the superintendent of elections remain open to the public from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. through Monday, Nov.5, according to a release issued by the county Friday night.

On Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6, polls will be open from 6 a.m.-8 p.m.

Voters displaced by Tropical Storm Sandy may vote provisionally at any polling site in the county, but must inform poll workers of their predicament, according to county officials.

Vote-by-mail ballots must be submitted to the Board of Elections at 5903 Main Stree in Mays Landing by 8 p.m. Nov. 6, according to county officials.
