Stockton University Police Issue 'All Clear' Alert

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ -

UPDATE: Stockton University police have declared an "all clear" alert after they issued a shelter-in-place recommendation this morning while they checked out report of shots fired in a nearby area, according to the university's website.

The shots were reportedly fired in the area of Moss Mill Road and Genoa Avenue, two miles from the campus.

"This is a precautionary measure and this is NOT an active shooter situation," the website post states. "There is no immediate threat to campus, but avoid that area."
