Stockton Photo of the Day Features Hal Taylor, Joseph Rubenstein and John Searight
Taylor was a professor of physics, and his brother was a Nobel Prize winner.

This photo is part of the photo gallery currently in the college.
This photo is undated and is from a nondescript protest during the college’s early days. The signs indicate it is from an employees’ strike at that time. One of those pictured is Hal Taylor, a physics professor at the school for more than 30 years. He researched and taught in the areas of astrophysics, meteorology, astronomy, electronics and general physics. His brother, Joseph Hooton Taylor Jr., won the Nobel Prize in Physics.
The others pictured in this photo are Joseph Rubenstein and John Searight, who each wrote essays for the college’s 40th anniversary.
