“We are very proud to have been selected among this small group of prestigious universities to participate in this conference, which attracts some of the top minds in the gaming industry,” said Dr. Israel Posner, LIGHT's Executive Director.

Posner, along with Stockton Hospitality Program Faculty Members Dr. Brian Tyrrell and Dr. Donna Albano, will represent Stockton in giving an overview of the supply and demand side of casino gaming in the Mid-Atlantic market.

This will include Atlantic City, as well as the emerging markets in Philadelphia, Delaware and New York.

Highlights of LIGHT's 2011 Tourism Promotion Survey will be presented and discussed in the context of the differences between traditional gaming customers and general recreation tourists.

The Levenson Institute was founded in 2010 with the goal of providing education, research and training, and to serve as a forum for public policy discussions in the gaming, hospitality and tourism industries.

“The Institute helps our hospitality faculty and students connect to the industry in very important ways by providing research and networking opportunities," said the school's Dean Dr. Janet Wagner.
