Strip Club Closes After Atlantic Co. 19-Year-Old's Death: Report

The nightclub where 19-year-old Irving Mayren-Guzman was last seen before his death has shut its doors temporarily​, according to a report.

PLEASANTVILLE, NJ — The nightclub where 19-year-old Irving Mayren-Guzman was last seen before his death has shut its doors temporarily, according to a report.

NJ.com reported Centerfolds Cabaret AC, in Pleasantville, "voluntarily closed." The Pleasantville police chief alluded to violations the club may have in a statement obtained by NJ.com; Mayren-Guzman was too young to enter.

Police say he was assaulted in the parking lot of the club.

The club's Facebook page had been deactivated by Friday at 3 p.m. The website, Twitter, and Instagram accounts were still active.

Hundreds of people attended a memorial service and march for Mayren-Guzman Wednesday in front of Centerfolds, as the Press of Atlantic City reported. Mayren-Guzman was an Egg Harbor Township resident.

Three men face assault charges in connection with his death as well as conspiracy charges, according to Pleasantville police.
