Students From Cape May, Atlantic Counties to Perform Unique Halloween Show in Ocean City This Weekend

Stage Fright features a cast of 20 student performers from middle and high schools across two counties.

The Greater Ocean City Theatre Company celebrates Halloween and the fall season with Stage Fright at the Ocean City Music Pier this weekend.

Show times are Saturday night. Oct. 25, 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 26, 2 p.m.

“We are thrilled to bring together all of these students under one roof to share and fine-tune their theatrical talents” Artistic Director Michael Hartman said.

In a unique concept, Stage Fright features two acts and two different shows that are “spooktacular” for the Halloween season.

One act will highlight an adaptation of the popular story of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

The other act will feature The Invisible Man, which is written by the master of science fiction, H.G. Wells.

Overseeing the entire play is accomplished director, performer and educator Donald Toal.
