Substitute Teacher Had Fake ID At South Jersey School: Police
Katherine MacPherson was actually supposed to be working at the Egg Harbor Township school, and police aren't sure why she had a fake ID.

EGG HARBOR TWP., NJ — A substitute teacher at an Egg Harbor Township school Monday had a fraudulent teacher identification, though she was in fact supposed to be working at the school, Egg Harbor Township police said.
Police received a call from the Egg Harbor Township School District's security director on Sept. 9 saying that a female substitute teacher at the Alder Avenue Middle School had what appeared to be a fraudulent teacher identification, according to a news release.
Officers went to the school to determine if the teacher was a threat. On location, they met the teacher, Katherine MacPherson, 35, of Egg Harbor Township, police said. They confirmed her ID was fake and took her into custody, charging her for the same, police said.

Investigation found that MacPherson was not a threat and was, in fact, supposed to be at school that day, police said. However, police still don't know why she had a fake teacher ID.
She wouldn't tell police why she had that ID, nor would she tell police who created it for her, police said.
