Supporters Turn Out For Galloway Democratic Fundraiser

The fundraiser was held Thursday night.

Galloway Democratic candidate for council Bill Montag held a fundraiser on Thursday night, April 4 at the Oyster Creek Inn.

Those in attendance included: Sen. Jeff Van Drew, Longport Mayor, Gen. Assembly candidate Nicolas Russo, Atlantic County Freeholder at Large Colin Bell, Freeholder Candidates Bard Shober and Brandi Clisham-Endicott, Atlantic County Clerk Ed McGettagan, Atlantic County Democratic Committee Chairman Jim Schroeder, Galloway Councilman Jim Gorman, distinguished members of the Galloway Democratic Club led by President Kevin Krumaker, former councilwoman Meg Worthingington, Atlantic Cape Community College Board Chairman Dave Evans and Doug Brown.

"We have received such great support from State and County officials from all over South Jersey," Montag and fellow candidates Jim McElwee, Michael Suleiman and Cliff Sudler said in a jointly released statement. "It shows that the Democratic Party is united and presents a serious challenge in this year's election from the top, Governor Candidate Barbara Buono, on down to local Candidates in Atlantic County and Galloway. Sen. Van Drew and Assembly candidate Russo were inspiring. Two public servants that should be the template for anybody seeking elected office. We truly thank them for taking the time to come out and support us and kick off our campaign."
