Third Summit on Atlantic City's Future Set for Thursday

Gov. Chris Christie will meet with political and business leaders to discuss the future of the City.

For the third time since September, Gov. Chris Christie will hold a summit on the future of Atlantic City.

The next summit takes place on Thursday, Jan. 22, at the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) Firehouse in Atlantic City. The summit begins at 11 a.m., the Governor’s Office announced Wednesday morning.

The first two summits, held in September and November, consisted of political and business leaders and were closed to the public.

The summits have been held in response to the closing of the Revel, Atlantic Club, Showboat and Trump Plaza and the loss of thousands of jobs last year.
