Three Galloway Students Among ACA Cuinary Graduates

A total of 12 students earned noncredit culinary certificates Monday night, Aug. 22.

Three Galloway Township students were among a total of 12 who received noncredit culinary certificates from the Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College on Monday night, Aug. 22.

Edward Beck, Patricia Fitting and Peter Pallitto, all of Galloway, were among those recognized for completing a five-month noncredit culinary training program. The program was designed to prepare students for entry-level kitchen and baking positions.

Students enrolled in the program mastered cooking principles and practical techniques. They were able to focus on areas they wished to specialize in. They also passed the National Restaurant Association Food Service Sanitation certificate as part of their requirements.

Others receiving their certificates included: David L. Butts of Ventnor, Shelby Cadmus of Manahawkin, Frank Heiler of Egg Harbor City, Samiyah Iddinn of Pleasantville, Joseph Monacello of Absecon, Stephen Randazzi of Mays Landing, Casey Schultz of Pleasantville, Kristina Sciolla of Cape May Court House and Paul Tomlin of Bridgeton.
