Two Murdered Victims In Ventnor Condo Complex ID'd

Two women died in a suspicious manner in a high-rise near the ocean, authorities said.

Two women died in a "suspicious" manner at a Jersey Shore high-rise near the waterfront on Sunday, according to authorities. The victims were identified.

Elaine Rosen, 87, and her daughter Michelle Gordon, 67, were the victims of the suspicious deaths inside the condominium complex on 4800 Boardwalk in Ventnor late Sunday, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.

Rosen and Gordon were the victims of apparent blunt force trauma. Autopsies for both victims were scheduled for Tuesday.

The Ventnor Police Department is assisting in the investigation that commenced after the bodies were found around 10:25 p.m. It is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no apparent danger to the public.

No other information will be released at this time.

The area is described by realtor.com as having a "stunning" view of the ocean and Atlantic City skyline. The building includes a new pool, new gym, library, community room with rooftop deck, restaurant, security and management.
