Victim In Wednesday Night Shooting Near N.J. Mall Identified
The shooting took place at an apartment complex near a mall where a fatal shooting took place on Black Friday.

Police have identified the victim in a fatal shooting that took place by the Hamilton Mall on Wednesday night, the second shooting near the mall in less than a week.
The victim has been identified as 21-year-old Marcus Campbell, of Egg Harbor City, Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Diane Ruberton said on Friday.
An autopsy determined the cause of death to be multiple gunshot wounds, and his death has been ruled a homicide.

Hamilton Township Police discovered Campbell’s body while responding to a 911 call at Ivy Bush Court at the the Woodlands Condominiums around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday night.
The Hamilton Rescue Squad, AtlantiCare paramedics and Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit detectives also responded to the scene.

He was pronounced dead at 6:51 p.m.
Police didn’t release any additional details about this investigation Friday afternoon.
It was the second deadly shooting that occurred within a mile or two of the Hamilton Mall in one week.
On Black Friday, Demond Cottman, 20, of Atlantic City, was killed in a shooting outside the Macy’s at the Hamilton Mall in Atlantic County around 1:05 a.m.
In August, five people were shot in an incident that began at Exit 12 on the Atlantic City Expressway, the same exit many visiting the area use to access the mall from the Expressway.
The Woodlands Condominium condo association reportedly works closely with township police and even hired its own private security firm.
The Press of Atlantic City reported that the latest shooting may be part of a turf war.
