Atlantic City Man Accused of Knocking Out Homeless Woman Allegedly Attacked Police Officer
Ibn Hunter is now charged with aggravated assault and assaulting a law enforcement officer.

An Atlantic City man who was charged with aggravated assault after allegedly punching a homeless woman and knocking her unconscious is now accused of attacking a police officer while in custody, The Press of Atlantic City reports.
Ibn Hunter, 25, was arrested Monday morning after the video of him knocking out the woman began to surface on Facebook over the weekend, according to the report.
He allegedly attacked an officer while he was being strip-searched, according to the report. The officer fought back, and Hunter apparently suffered an injury to his forehead in the subsequent struggle.

He is now charged with assaulting a law enforcement officer, and has been upgraded to a high-security inmate, according to the report.
The video that was posted to social media over the weekend begins with Hunter, whose name is also spelled Iben Hunter, arguing with the woman, who is sitting on a bench. Hunter is standing. About 20 minutes into the video, Hunter punches the woman, knocking her over.

The cameraman that takes a close-up shot of the woman’s face as Hunter talks into the camera. She appears to be unconscious, and has a mark over her left eye.
Police are attempting to determine who the cameraman was, according to the report.
The unidentified 44-year-old woman signed herself out of the hospital, according to the report. She was in the hospital suffering from a head injury. Her condition is unknown.
